We can supply wire guides dies in-ground or ground & polished condition. Non-standard guides are available upon request.
Introduction of Carbide Wire Guides Die
Tungsten carbide wire guide die is made of two parts: steel cast and carbide inserts.
Tungsten carbide is using as its inner core for its extremely hard and wear-resistant features. And the wire guide hole must be polishing into very smoothy to guide and protect the wire.

with sophisticated device for precision grinding and polishing, coupled with advanced production and processing technology, the inner and the outer diameter of the hole and tolerance R at less than 0.01mm, the surface roughness over the trough reached Ra 0.025 and above,
Wire guide die requires high hardness, smooth surface in use to reduce injury and other enameled wire,this is the reason why we choose tungsten carbide material.
High hardness (86 ~ 93HRA, equivalent to 69 ~ 81HRC);
The hot hardness (up to 900 ~ 1000 °C, keeping 60HRC);
Good wear resistance
Diameter φ1-φ500mm is available.

an uneven twist having a wavy formation. The position of the wires will be displaced, The wire having a higher tension will cut through the strand becoming almost straight, whereas other wires having uneven and loose tension will sit awkwardly in a spiral formation, leading to bird caging and snaking of the conductor. Hence, it is essential to have a front guide plate D, as in figure wire guide holes or guide rollers must be very smooth.
